SweetFreeze was created by the team behind Ocho Sundries — a small, family-owned food business based in Pittsburgh focused on bold flavors, handcrafted batches, and creative food products. What started with fresh salsa and specialty foods naturally expanded into freeze-drying as we explored new ways to create fun, flavorful, shelf-stable snacks.

What We Make

SweetFreeze focuses on small-batch freeze-dried snacks made with the same attention to quality and creativity that defines every Ocho product. Our lineup currently includes:

Every product is produced in our certified commercial kitchen in Pittsburgh and packaged in small batches for freshness and consistency.

One of the things we love most about freeze-drying is the ability to constantly experiment and create new textures, flavors, and snack ideas. We’re actively developing and testing additional products, including:

• Freeze-Dried Salsa inspired by Ocho’s signature flavors

All SweetFreeze products are made in Pittsburgh in a certified commercial kitchen. We believe small batches create better products — more consistency, better quality control, and more room for creativity.

While freeze-dried candy helped launch SweetFreeze, the goal has always been bigger: creating unique freeze-dried foods with real flavor, creative ideas, and handcrafted quality. SweetFreeze is simply the next chapter of Ocho Sundries — and we’re just getting started.
